Forfar Galvanisers are located in the heart of Angus Scotland and is the forefront of technology in the Galvanizing Industry in the U.K.
Established in 2000, Forfar Galvanisers Ltd has grown to become one of Scotland’s leading providers of hot dip galvanising services. Hot dip galvanising is the process of coating steel with molten zinc to provide long-term protection against corrosion, significantly extending the life of metalwork in even the harshest environments. Combining decades of expertise with innovative, environmentally responsible processes, we deliver reliable, high-quality protection you can depend on.
Our facility is home to Scotland’s widest galvanising bath, with working dimensions of 5.2m in length, 1.35m width, & 2.4m depth. The system can handle individual items weighing up to 1 ton.
This capacity allows us to accommodate a diverse range of projects – from large-scale structural steelwork to intricate architectural components: all galvanised in accordance with BS EN ISO 1461, ensuring consistent quality and industry-recognised standards compliance.
The plant has an automated handling system which reduces the risk of processing/handling damage & provides a constant flow of material throughout the process. The automated handling system works together with a Swedish designed air emission cleaning system ensuring a environmentally conscious operation.
